Yet another image? Haven’t we seen it all?

In this era of instant gratification where we dart fervently from one thing to the next, I believe the opposite to be true. We are relentlessly exposed to flashy, market-surveyed and hyper-edited images that increase our alienation from the natural world we inhabit. We are diverted from lingering and marvelling at the mysteries of life, so often expressed in the blemishes and the idiosyncrasies. Yet it is precisely this vulnerability that gives life its sweetness.

My work aims to highlight the inspiration of the details rather than the complacency of perfection. My photos are in homage to Life in all of its glorious manifestations, interpreted through my particular lens. Things are not always as obvious as they might initially seem.
